Hello, and welcome to Spanish Practice - a web application where you can get practice with your Spanish through a variety of exercises and activities! This website features lessons related to Spanish grammar, vocabulary and conversation, as well as research into elements of Mexican culture. Below you'll find links to our latest lessons, and you can also navigate to all lessons via the main menu of the site.

If you are using this website as part of a Spanish class at UW-Milwaukee's School of Continuing Education, multiple lessons from this site may be scheduled together as part of a lesson plan. For help with lesson planning, don't hesitate to contact us.

Language Learning Tips from Alaina

#1 Get really comfortable making a lot of mistakes.

#2 Listen to and read the language you're learning as much as you can.

#3 Speak the language as much as possible.

#4 Try not to translate from your dominant languages into the language you're learning when you speak.

#5 Don't become overly reliant on dictionaries when reading.
